So yeah, I did this for my friend who is going away to college in a couple days. I told him if he doesn't build a shrine around it that takes up at least 75% of his dorm then I will be thoroughly disappointed. Ok, specs: done at 4 in the morning in about 30 minutes with india inks and a calligraphy brush... and yeah, that's really all there is to it. I was going for an ukiyo-e feel (again), because I dig that style and, if it isn't painfully obvious by now, I like Japan, but it turned out like this. The text says "OWL POWER *squiggly line*" at least according to a Japanese-English dictionary and my little to no knowledge of Japanese sentence structure :\ Download for big details if you're into that sorta thing... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
