Whooo, I haven't posted anything in so long that it's kinda like I'm turning into
=ilovegravy
Yeah, so my art thinkers have been all clogged up in me head-box for a while now, that's why y'all ain't seen much of me.
Anywho, number of mentionables. Firstly my birfday was recently, hooray! Sorry sexual predators, I'm legal now

On a related note, I got accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design (along with a few other places that don't really matter) so I'll be going there in the fall. Hooray, college

Next of all, movies. Ironman was fantastic, though they greatly underutilized in the song with the same name. While that was fantastic, Speed Racer was AMAZING! Saw that shit in IMAX, DAWG! My only qualm is that the movie made this government organization put all the cool gadgets in the Mach 5, but Pops (John Goodman was fucking born for that role) was the one who built the stuff into the car to protect Speed from the same fate as his brother. (yeah, so I'm a Speed Racer fan, have been my entire life. I've even got an official Speed Racer pit crew pass :
D)
Also, GTA4 wins pretty hard, except for having to do shit with your in-game friends. As
Zero Punctuation so well put it, "hang on, am I playing Grand Theft Auto or Grand Theft Norman Boring Life?" (in reference to something different, but I don't care I'll take whatever I want out of context)
I got a
facebutt. Hit me up in thurr if you feel the need, but be warned fair adventurers: ... I don't really use it that much.
And finally, my senior project is finally coming to fruition. I made a movie that is sort of like a pilot episode for a sketch comedy series that will never exist, covering such topics as murderous hotdogs, crotchety old men who think Guitar Hero is made by Satan-worshiping communists, the evening news, and bad James Lipton imitations. I plan to have at least clip from it up on the intertubes within the next couple weeks. I'm going to be screening it as a double feature with another group that's doing almost exactly the same thing as I am on the 27th and 28th of this month at 7 o'clock at the Video Library in Mt. Airy. So if you happen to be in or around the Philadelphia area on either of those dates, please swing by. Tickets are $6 apiece, and there is very limited seating so if you really want to see it request a reservation by emailing me at
seniordoublefeature@yahoo.com and you'll recieve a reservation slip which you'll pay for at the door. (Non-reservation seating is first come, first served.) I'm also going to be selling DVDs of the movie at the event, but if I can figure out a cost-effective way I'll sell them online too (maybe through amazon. If anybody knows of a good way to do this, do tell.) All proceeds from this event (well, my half of it, at least) will be donated to WHYY public television, so if you wanna see obscure British sitcoms at 11 at night more often, you might wanna attend.
And don't worry, those who I haven't drawn for: I haven't forgotten about the free sketches thing. I'll get to them eventually. There's still one left, bee tee dubs. (see
thissun for details)
I had a good way to end this journal, then I forgot it, but rest assured that it was probably going to be witty or something.
MERCHANDISE! HOORAY CAPITALISM! (Nothing new, but please give me money :DThree-Pronged Sputnik Productions (New Video!)Send a note or email if you're interested in a commission... no, seriously_______________________
